Yan Kwok
郭氏畢業於香港教育大學音樂教育榮譽學士, 主修長笛, 副修敲擊及聲樂，在學期間師承香港長笛家莊雪華老師以及胡永彥老師學習長笛，隨後師隨香港管弦樂團Olivier Nowak 學習長笛及短笛。此外，郭氏亦熱愛鋼琴和敲擊樂，曾師隨香港演藝學院陳思佑老師及余頌恩博士學習鋼琴及香港中樂團敲擊樂手錢國偉老師學習敲擊樂。
郭氏受梁永健老師的悉心教導及啓蒙，於大學一年級時已考獲英國皇家音樂學院長笛八級證書、英國聖三一學院長笛演奏文憑(ATCL), 並於學生公開音樂比賽的長笛演奏級組獲得金獎。此外其後兩年分別考獲英國皇家音樂學院敲擊八級證書及英國聖三一學院鋼琴演奏文憑(ATCL)，並於2017年考獲英國聖三一學院長笛演奏文憑(LTCL)。
郭氏熱愛學習，曾參加長笛家Michel Bellavance, Thomas Robertello, Shimizu Kazutaka, Markus Brönnimann, Roman Novotny 舉行的長笛大師課。
二零一二年獲得獎學金到美國Alverno College學習音樂，雙主修鋼琴及長笛，得到美國家Immanuel David, Jennifer Clippert及 Linda Nielsin指導，以及鋼琴家Mark Davis及LaRita Craft指導。
郭氏熱愛獨奏及合奏表演。2016年，她為胡杏兒的婚紗公司Kevoli於香港文化中心音樂的情人節音樂會廳擔任長笛獨奏，同年她於香港大會堂與香港長笛藝術學院老師及胡永彥老師參與長笛演奏。2017年，她與台灣長笛家張幃甯為亞洲室樂團於西灣河文娛中心音樂廳演出二重奏。其後於此2021年，她於牛池灣文娛中心獨奏韋華第短笛協奏曲。
她亦為香港教育學院管樂團､香港教育學院管弦樂團､及香港國際管樂節負責演奏長笛及敲擊。
郭氏亦積極參與樂團表演。現時郭氏為 中國香港青年樂團、亞洲音樂協會、香港交響樂團及香港業餘管弦樂團長笛及短笛樂手，並於香港中、小學， 私人教授長笛鋼琴，及鋼琴伴奏，並有超過10年教學經驗。

Winner of 2nd HK Students Open Music Competition Diploma class, she received her Bachelor of Music Education at the Hong Kong Institute of Education in 2014, studying flute with Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra Freelance player Ivy Chuang and Matthew Wu, and attending Master classes and private lessons by professional flutist Mechel Bellavance, Thomas Robertello, Shimizu Kazutaka, Markus Brönnimann, Roman Novotny.
Apart from getting professional training in Hong Kong, Yan also got scholarship to study in Alverno College in the United State, double major in Flute and Piano, studying with world known flutist Immanuel Davis, Jennifer Clippert and Linda Nielsen, and pianist Mark Davis and LaRita Craft. Except studying flute, Yan also got professional training on piano, studying with Sze Yau Chan and Dr. Grace Yu from Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.
As a musician, she has engaged as a performer in China Hong Kong Youth Orchestra, Hong Kong Symphony Orchestra,Hong Kwok Asian Chamber Orchestra, Joyeux Winds, Hong Kong Amateur Orchestra, HKIED Symphonic Winds, HKIED Orchestra and Hong Kong International Band Fair as flutist, and HKIED Orchestra as percussionist. In addition to music background, she has over 10 years of private teaching experience in both piano, flute and percussion in music center,Hong Kong Flute Academy, primary school, secondary school and church.
